This was one of two entries I made for GetMeOffTheMoon's Neo Devroom Event #3: Airship Design, and awesomely enough it won first place!
Ship description: When it comes to defending your family and/or digging companions, you'd be hard pressed to find an airship that handles the job as well as the Sheeld. If the standard model colors of sea and sky aren't enough to keep pirating eyes from finding you, the defensive wings will see to it their cannonfire bounces off your ship like a buster off a Golbesh! Not only do the defensive options of your shielding provide great protection, but great maneuverablity as well.
For more leisurely times, the wings can be lowered to create an abundance of deckspace great for social gatherings or even allowing small ships to dock.
